Congratulations to our Super Seniors at Oak Park Tennis Center!
Inspired by Frank Kim, Angie Torres led the charge to secure 24 seniors aged 72-88 years old for their very own tennis competition!
Over 3 days, players participated in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles matches. Then, the culminating championship round for all 3 divisions.
Prized were awarded for doubles champions and runners up. Other prizes were given for the oldest player and lowest score.
Our goal is to make this an annual event and give all players their much earned and deserved time on the courts and in the spotlight!
Send us an email at antwan@oakparktenniscenter.com if you are interested in participating in our Super Senior Tournament or if you are interested in playing with others in your age group. We have social drop in groups as well!
Tennis is a lifelong sport and our Super Senior Tennis Tournament is case and point! These inspiring athletes can run down a lob, volley, serve up an ace, and switch sides with their partner all with a passionate pursuit to win! The reward is laughter, fun, friendship, and making memories that players and spectators alike won't soon forget!
