Super Senior Tennis Tournament

What a feat!

Congratulations to our Super Seniors at Oak Park Tennis Center!

Inspired by Frank Kim, Angie Torres led the charge to secure 24 seniors aged 72-88 years old for their very own tennis competition!

Over 3 days, players participated in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles matches.  Then, the culminating championship round for all 3 divisions.

Prized were awarded for doubles champions and runners up.  Other prizes were given for the oldest player and lowest score.

Our goal is to make this an annual event and give all players their much earned and deserved time on the courts and in the spotlight!

Send us an email at antwan@oakparktenniscenter.com if you are interested in participating in our Super Senior Tournament or if you are interested in playing with others in your age group.  We have social drop in groups as well!

Spots open for you!

Tennis is a lifelong sport and our Super Senior Tennis Tournament is case and point!  These inspiring athletes can run down a lob, volley, serve up an ace, and switch sides with their partner all with a passionate pursuit to win!  The reward is laughter, fun, friendship, and making memories that players and spectators alike won't soon forget!

Antwan Graves

Welcome to Oak Park Tennis Center, home of the best tennis community in the San Joaquin Valley!

We are located at 3514 North Sutter Street in the great city of Stockton.

Oak Park is a picturesque park in the middle of Stockton, with great baseball fields, a community swimming pool, a full size ice-skating rink, a senior citizen's center, and beautiful, 200 year-old oak trees.

The Oak Park Tennis Center is surrounded by these beautiful oak trees and breathtaking greenery.

Oak Park Tennis Center has  10 lighted tennis courts, 1 pro court with a ball machine, a full service pro shop, a clubhouse, clean restrooms and showers.

OPTC is open to the public for playing recreational tennis, tennis lessons, tournaments, and

inter-club competition.

OPTC was built by and is owned by the City of Stockton, and managed by newly appointed Director of Tennis, Antwan Graves.

Peter Juarez, who wonderfully managed and operated OPTC for the last 20 years, has been inducted into the Stockton, Mexican, and Edison High School Hall of Fame for his dedicated service to the community.

In this website, we are hopeful to answer any questions that you may have about tennis in the Stockton area.  Many of the pages include links to websites that can give you information about activities and events happening at OPTC.

Information about tennis court reservations, retail items in the pro shop, tennis lessons for adults and kids, the Stockton Tennis Club, the Oak Park Women's Tennis Club, and the Oak Park Junior Tennis

Foundation, can all be found by starting here at the OPTC website.

We thank you for your interest and we hope and pray that you will find everything that you need to find your way to visit us at OPTC!
